Man arraigned for snatching police officer’s phone

One of three youths accused of assaulting a police officer, Inspector Yahaya Auwal, and snatching his mobile phone has appeared before a magistrates’ court in Kano State.

Habila Nura (25), alongside two others, still at large, were charged with conspiracy to commit crime, armed robbery, assault and inflicting injury.

Magistrate Mujtaba Abba Dandago adjourned the case to July 23.
