The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, weekend, charged traditional rulers in Yorubaland to make peaceful co-existence, unity, promotion and preservation of Yoruba culture and traditions their watch words 

Receiving the Elerinmo of Erinmo – Ijesa kingdom in Osun state, Oba Michael Adeyobiojo Odunayo Adeagbo Ajayi to his residence, Ondo Street, Bodija, Ibadan, the Olubadan designate stated  the importance of peaceful coexistence in Yorubaland and Nigeria in general. 

Oba Ladoja added that Yoruba has rich cultural values that the whole world cherish and respect which should at all times be demonstrated by all the Yoruba people.

The Olubadan designate noted that nothing should be done to tarnish the rich cultural values that the whole world cherish as well as the respected cultural heritage.

While welcoming the Elerinmo of Erinmo and his entourage, Oba Ladoja expressed his gratitude to the monarch and the entire people of Erinmo Ijesa for the congratulatory visit. 

Speaking during the visit, the Elerinmo of Erinmo, Oba Ajayi said the emergence of Oba Ladoja as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland was a testimony of divine providence

“With great Joy and heartfelt delight, I extend my warm congratulations on your ascension to the revered throne of Olubadan of Ibadanland,” he said.
