Madagascar Will Do Everything To Qualify For 2026 World Cu

Madagascar star El Hadary Raheriniaina has disclosed the team’s determination to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Recall that Barea currently sit three points behind Ghana’s Black Stars in Group I, and a victory could edge them closer to a historic debut at the global tournament.

Speaking with FIFA.com, Raheriniaina stated that Madagascar will do everything to win their remaining two matches against Comoros and Mali.

“Madagascar have already competed once in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019, so playing in a World Cup would be incredible. It would be a dream come true,” Raheriniaina told FIFA.com

“The goal is to win our matches against Comoros and Mali, and the rest depends on Ghana because I think that one win will be enough for them to qualify. Their destiny is in their own hands. All we can do is try to win our matches and see what happens.”

A second-place finish in Group I could earn Madagascar a play-off spot as one of the best runners-up, and the talented youngster says he is ready for any scenario.
