Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric has admitted that Ademola Lookman is unlikely to feature in the club’s Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Nigerian forward has yet to make an appearance this season, with uncertainty over his future still unresolved.
Juric addressed the issue after Atalanta’s 4-0 Serie A win over Lecce on Sunday, confirming that the forward’s situation remains complicated and far from ideal.
Juric: “Not a good situation”
When asked about the possibility of Lookman being involved against PSG, Juric told DAZN (via Inter News24): “Lookman in Paris? I don’t think so, the situation is unpleasant and not good.”

The Croatian coach stressed that he needs fully committed players available for selection, highlighting that team unity is a priority as Atalanta prepare for their European campaign.
“We need ready guys who want to give their all for the shirt,” Juric added.
Transfer uncertainty continues
Lookman, 27, has been at the center of a transfer saga throughout the summer, with Inter Milan strongly linked with a move.
However, negotiations stalled before the window closed, leaving his status at Atalanta uncertain and raising questions about his role in the team moving forward.
The forward has now missed all of Atalanta’s opening fixtures in Serie A.
