Lokpobiri affirms Tinubu’s commitment to Niger Delta development

The Minister of State for Petroleum (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, has restated President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the development of the Niger Delta region.

Lokpobiri, who stated this over the weekend after attending a special dinner to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Bayelsa Governor, Senator Douye Diri, stressed that the Federal Government would not renege on its promise to implement its developmental agenda in Bayelsa and other parts of the Niger Delta region.

“It was a pleasure to have joined people of goodwill here in Yenagoa for the special dinner to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our governor, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri. This milestone is a testament to his dedication, visionary leadership, and relentless commitment to the progress of Bayelsa State.

“I must emphasise that the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to complementing every effort aimed at advancing development across the nation. As a proud son of Bayelsa, I can personally attest to Mr President’s resolve in this regard.

“As we celebrate this anniversary, I extend my best wishes to Governor Diri, hoping for continued success as he delivers even greater dividends to our people.”
