Local security operatives in Katsina State have arrested a medical doctor, identified as Lawan Ado, for allegedly treating notorious bandits in the state.
It was gathered that Dr. Lawan, who hail from Safana Local Government Area of the state, was apprehend on Tuesday following intelligence reports linking him to the medical care of the criminal elements.
In a viral video making wave on social media, Dr. Lawan was heard confessing to security agents how he was paid in several outings where he treated the terrorists.

According to his confession, the first bandit he treated was wanted Usman Modi-Modi, after the gang leader sustained gunshot wounds in a clash with the Yan Kyanbara vigilante group.
The Dr. said: “He was first admitted at a hospital in Taskiya for treatment, but two days later, they brought me for further treatment. I was paid N18,000 for my service.
“I also treated other bandits like, Mai Kudi, who was shot in Kurfi and I was paid N8,000. Then Audu, one of Usman Modi-Modi’s lieutenants who also paid me N8,000.
“Dogo Mardi, who was shot during a robbery operation paid me N11,000.”
