The event, themed “Your Career, Your Way: Explore Endless Possibilities,” aims to link thousands of young Lagosians with job and entrepreneurial opportunities across various sectors.

The Job Fair, a key initiative to tackle youth unemployment, will feature on-the-spot interviews, recruitment by top organizations, career consultations, and a panel session with business leaders discussing strategies for today’s job market. 

Workshops on résumé writing, interview skills, digital product creation, and entrepreneurship will also be offered.Commissioner Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe emphasized the event’s alignment with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda, focusing on education, technology, and building a 21st-century economy. 

He highlighted the 2024 Job Fair’s success, with over 3,000 participants, many of whom secured jobs, and promised the 2025 edition will further bridge the talent-opportunity gap by equipping youth with digital skills and employment networks.

Permanent Secretary Esv. Wasiu Adebayo Olayinka urged job seekers and professionals to register, assuring that the Ministry is prepared to deliver a successful and impactful event. 

The Job Fair underscores Lagos State’s role as Nigeria’s hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development through partnerships with government, private sectors, and multinational organizations.
