Lagos State Safety Commission has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students in Lagos State Model Colleges.
This pledge was emphasized during a safety training programme held for House Managers, food vendors, and other stakeholders in the state’s model colleges.
The Director-General of the Lagos State Safety Commission,Lanre Mojola, represented by the Technical Adviser, Seun Awojobi, highlighted that the training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge to prioritize safety and security in boarding schools.
He stressed that the Safety Commission has been working relentlessly to ensure all schools in the state adhere to safety standards and protocols.
“As a responsible government, the safety of our students is non-negotiable. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our students to learn and thrive,” Mr. Awojobi stated.
He also underscored the crucial role played by house managers and food vendors in safeguarding students. The programme is part of a broader initiative.
