Lady jumps from moving car in Abuja after entering kidnapper’s taxi

A Nigerian lady has narrated how she unknowingly entered a suspected kidnapper’s car at Kubwa in Abuja and was forced to jump out while the vehicle was in motion after the driver sped off from the park when someone identified him as a kidnapper.

This is contained in a post made available on a popular social media platform, X, formally Twitter.

The post shared by a user, @ABUJAPLUG, detailed the experience of the lady as she narrated a time she snuck out of her house due to her desire to pursue her cabin crew dream.

According to her, she waited at Kubwa junction for a coaster bus but could not get one on a specific day and decided to take a taxi instead.

She said she was the only passenger in the taxi when the driver decided to go to a park to pick up more passengers.

However, someone from the crowd suddenly identified the driver as a kidnapper, causing him to immediately zoom off while she was still in the car.

Upon realizing the danger, she jumped out of the moving vehicle.

Her statement read in part: “When I was in the university, between 200 level, I made up my mind to become a cabin crew. I spoke to my parents about it and they kicked against it instantly, my mum told me it was not my path in life and I aborted that mission.”

I was very stubborn so I went on to make enquiries about aviation school and I found one, the school fees was relatively fair.”

“I brought out my savings and I paid, they gave me my handout with my uniforms and every other thing. Every morning, I would always sneak out of my family’s house, order a ride and go to school.”

“The major expense was transportation so I had to cut down on my transportation. This was around Kubwa junction, I started using coaster buses to go home.”

This specific day, I had waited for like one hour waiting for a coaster bus at Kubwa junction but no coaster bus came so I said let me wait for a normal taxi. I waited but I did not see any.”

I saw one car that passed, it was an empty car, I sat at the back seat. The back seat was quite tight due to the fact that my legs are very long. I told the driver to push the seat to the front, he told me they do not do that here and that I should come to the front. So I sat down at the front seat and was waiting for the car to fill up. Then somebody sighted him from afar.”

“The person shouted Kidnapper kidnapper you this kidnapper don come again. The person that was shouting kidnapper ran against him and this man started his car.”

“All the doors were still open, the man entered the car and zoomed off and I was inside the car. I jumped out of this car, I did not even think twice. I rolled on the floor and people from the junction started running to help me. I had bruises all over my body.”

She made several other statements in the post and as the video made its way online, concerned individuals stormed the comment section to share their thoughts.
