The arrests came on the heels of an earlier incident in which three other bandits were neutralized in Lade while attempting to purchase fuel which led to the capture of four more suspects.
The successful operation highlights the increasing role of local vigilante groups in supporting security efforts in the area, particularly in rural communities that are often targeted by criminal elements.
Authorities have commended the vigilance of the community members and urged residents to continue reporting suspicious activities to enhance safety in the region.
