Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Samaila Bagudu who was abducted in his hometown of Bagudo local government area by gunmen suspected to be Lakurawa terrorists has regained his freedom.
Confirming the release of the abducted lawmaker, Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi state governor Mohammed Idris informed said the deputy speaker was released at night.
The lawmaker was abducted Friday October 31, 2025 in Bagudo.
