Kebbi sacks education secretaries 

The Kebbi state government has removed all the 21 Local Government Education Secretaries (ESs) in the state with immediate effect.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, announced this in a statement in Birnin Kebbi, Tuesday.

The chief press secretary to the governor, Ahmed Idris, quotes the SSG as directing the outgoing ESs to hand over the mantle of leadership to directors of administration in their respective local government areas.

“Kebbi state government appreciates your contribution to the development of education in your localities.

“The government wishes you well in your future endeavours as you prepare to return to your previous callings,” the statement reads.
