The seizures also comprised 140 cartons of foreign spaghetti, 100 bags of foreign parboiled rice, and 20 jerry cans of vegetable oil, all with a Duty Paid Value (DPV) of ₦109,595,761.

Comptroller Ibrahim stated, “These seizures are clear evidence of our officers’ commitment to safeguarding the nation’s economy by ensuring that only legitimate goods are allowed into the country.”

He added that the command would continue to strengthen surveillance along border areas to frustrate smugglers’ activities.

He also announced plans to embark on a comprehensive tour of border stations in Kamba, Dolekaina, Bagudo, Maje, Sabgana/Tsamiya, and Lolo to assess operations and identify operational challenges firsthand.

“Our resolve is firm we will not relent until smuggling is completely stamped out in Kebbi State,” Ibrahim said, reaffirming the service’s commitment to national economic protection and border integrity.
