New vice chancellor of Federal University Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) in Katsina state, Prof. Muhammed Khalil Othman, has expressed his readiness to improve the institution with a 5 points working agenda during his tenure.

Othman stated this weekend during his inaugural speech as the fourth substantive vice chancellor of FUDMA in Katsina.

The new VC listed  his 5-point agenda to includes Research, Teaching, Community service, Discipline and Law abiding.

He said: “I have a five points working agenda and of course FUDMA has its own work that I will maintain and elevate to a higher position in the near future.”

 The new VC who is a Professor of Agricultural Engineering said, the university works on three functions that includes, research, teaching and community services.

 He said: “I want to make sure that  there’s discipline in this institution from the messenger to  vice chancellor. Everybody has to follow the law of Nigeria, rules and regulations of the university and the society.”
