Controversial American rapper Kanye West has urged President Donald Trump to grant a pardon to imprisoned music mogul Sean Combs, also known as Puff Diddy.
Notably, Diddy is currently facing over 30 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct.
He is being detained in a New York jail while awaiting a federal criminal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering.

West took to his X page on Friday, urging Trump to release the embattled hip-hop mogul.
“@realDonaldTrump, please free my brother Puff,” he wrote .
In several follow-up posts, the rapper called out celebrities for their silence regarding Diddy’s situation.
“All these celebrity niggas and bitches is pussy y’all a watch our brother rot and never say shit,” he posted.
Kanye also implied that Diddy’s case was being used to create fear within the Black community.
“Just for clarity, they trying to make an example out of Puff. Me and my brother had our issues but these white people trying to use Puff to scare niggas. I’m neither scared nor brave. This just me.”
Diddy was taken into custody by Homeland Security in September last year on suspicion of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.
Diddy has denied all charges, pleading not guilty on Tuesday, 17 September. However, his bail request has been denied twice.
Recently, Diddy was reportedly taken to a hospital in Brooklyn for a knee injury and was returned to his cell after treatment. His trial is set to begin later this year.
