The Kano Road And Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has declared a motorist, identified as Bashir Fagge, wanted after he reportedly fled during trial at a mobile traffic court in the state.
According to the agency, Fagge, who was driving a vehicle with registration number KMC 302 BD, was arraigned for allegedly disobeying traffic officers and violating established road safety regulations. The case was heard at the mobile court sitting along Ibrahim Taiwo Road in Kano.
However, before the proceedings could be concluded, the defendant allegedly escaped from the courtroom, prompting authorities to issue a notice for his immediate appearance.

The presiding judge has ordered Fagge to present himself before the court on or before Tuesday, September 16, 2025, warning that failure to comply would result in the issuance of a bench warrant for his arrest.
KAROTA recently inaugurated mobile courts across Kano State to address the increasing rate of traffic offences, which officials say have contributed significantly to road accidents, injuries, and fatalities in the metropolis.
