Kaduna lawmaker offers full scholarship to kidnapped victims 

The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, has offered full scholarship to five students of Bethel Baptist High School who were victims of banditry attack in the school.

The bandits had stormed the school on July 5, 2021, where they abducted 121 students. All the abducted students regained their freedom and have graduated from the school except five students who are still studying in the school.

Senator Katung granted the scholarship during the fund raising programmes organised by the Kaduna Baptist Conference for the rebuilding of the Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna.

Senator Katung pledged to undertake the tuition fees from the secondary up to university.

“From today, my education foundation will take full responsibility of their education from now up to the university level,” Senator Katung announced.
