Former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua has paid tribute to Ricky Hatton, describing him as ‘Our British Hero.’
Recall that the 46-year-old was found dead at his home in Hyde in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Greater Manchester.
Hatton, known as The Hitman, won four world titles after trading blows with some of history’s greatest fighters.

Reacting to his death, Joshua, via his official Instagram handle, described Hatton as the British hero.
“RIP Hitman. One of the best to do it. Our British hero.”
Hatton’s stellar career included epic fights against Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, a legendary triumph over Kostya Tszyu.
Hatton, who was awarded an MBE, had worked as a boxing promoter and trainer since hanging up his gloves.
