Joshua, Jake Paul ‘Finalising Deal’ To Fight In December


Anthony Joshua is finalising a stunning deal to fight Jake Paul in Miami next month, per reports.

Joshua, 36, has been out of action since losing to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.

Promoter Eddie Hearn admitted that his man’s next bout would be decided this week.

And according to Ring Magazine’s Mike Coppinger (via The Sun), AJ is set to make his long-awaited return against Paul.

The Problem Child last fought in June, when he defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in California.

In his previous bout to that, Paul defeated Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in November 2024, a bout also shown by Netflix.

The YouTube star has a 12-1 pro boxing record – his sole defeat coming via split decision against Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Paul had been due to fight Gervonta Davis live on Netflix on November 14.

But the exhibition was called off amid allegations of domestic abuse made against WBA lightweight champion Davis.
