Japan Denies Nigeria’s Visa Claims +Tinubu Calls for Diaspora Unity+ Atiku Marks Hausa Day

The Japanese Foreign Ministry has issued a firm denial of reports from Nigerian officials that a special visa program was created for the city of Kisarazu, clarifying that no such program is planned for Nigeria or African immigrants.

Following a two-day state visit to Brazil and participation in the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) in Japan, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja. While in Brazil, President Tinubu spoke to Nigerians there, urging them to work together to bring the country to the forefront of Africa’s progress. The President also highlighted his administration’s focus on technology and food security. At the same event, the Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris also addressed Nigerians in the diaspora, highlighting a number of President Tinubu’s reforms two years in, including the removal of the fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange market.
