Stanley Nwabali is the captain of the club, and he has done well manning the sticks….
Chippa United coach Luc Eymael has revealed that Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has fallen out with the club, Soccernet.ng reports.
Nwabali has been with Chippa United since 2022, when he joined from Katsina United. And he has proven to be reliable in between the sticks for the South African club.
His consistent brilliance saw him ascend to become the captain of the club quite quickly. He also earned a place as a regular for the Super Eagles last year, after coach Jose Peseiro scouted and invited to the team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in 2024.

Following his brilliant performances for club and country, Nwabali has been linked with top clubs in South Africa and outside, but nothing has emerged from the speculations yet.
All the while, Nwabali has acted professionally and has not pushed to leave the club. But per new reports, things many not be well with the Super Eagles star and the club.
Nwabali was not in Chippa United’s matchday squad for their 2-1 loss to Polokwane on Sunday. That raised eyebrows, especially as there was no new of him sustaining an injury.

When asked about the reason for Nwabali’s absence, Chippa United boss Eymael stated that they had issues with the Super Eagles star that need to sort out.
“We have to deal with some internal issues that are happening you saw that one important player [Nwabali] was not there today, it’s a problem we have to solve,” Eymael said.
“I cannot talk about that; I prefer not to talk about it to the media. First, I think we have to solve the problem internally, and it’s sad, but it’s like that sometimes it happens in soccer.
“But okay it gives a chance to other guys they have to take also the chance. And you know it’s important that everybody wants to play for Chippa United and to go in the same direction. It’s the only solution to take this team up and I think we are capable to do it.”
Why Has Stanley Nwabali Fallen Out With Chippa United?
From coach Luc Eymael’s statements, it can be inferred that Stanley Nwabali is pushing to leave the club.

Recall that Soccernet.ng recently reported that Raja Casablanca were seriously interested in acquiring his services, but nothing concrete emerged from those talks.
However, it could just be that Raja, or another club has turned the Super Eagles star’s head.
Chippa United’s next game is against Sekhukhune today, and it is let to be seen if Nwabali will be in the lineup.
