Former US tennis star Serena Williams has disclosed that it will be difficult for her to leave her two daughters at home for a night out event.

In a chat with PEOPLE, Serena stated that her daughters are part of her daily routine.

“Well, tonight was definitely a little more difficult. I don’t like to leave my kids,” Williams admits. “I have a nighttime routine with them every day.”

“I love Baby2Baby because they’re really just about kids and helping so many babies and so many mothers as well.

“They’re so supportive, so I just feel like it wasn’t easy, but it’s also nice. I get to come out and get to get dressed up, put on a little lip and have some fun with some amazing people.”

Serena has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most by any player in the open era, with a total of 39 Grand Slam titles across singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

Her singles titles include seven Australian Opens, three French Opens, seven Wimbledons, and six US Opens.

She also won 14 women’s doubles titles and two mixed doubles titles, primarily with her sister, Venus Williams.
