Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi, known by his stage name Zlatan Ibile, has disclosed that he stopped smoking about four years ago.
The Bolanle crooner shared this during an open chat with fans on Snapchat after a follower asked him if he still smoked.
The father of one explained that questions about his smoking habits often come up, but he made the decision to quit years back.
He mentioned that the choice was personal and that he holds no problem with people who still smoke.
He wrote: “A day can’t pass without someone asking me this question. Yes, I quit smoking 4 years ago. And I have no issues with smokers.”
This comes few days after he opened up about how becoming a father at 25 changed his perspective on life.
Naija News reports that the ‘Zanku’ crooner, in a recent episode of the ‘Is This A Safe Space?’ podcast, said the birth of his son made him realize that life was getting serious, but he was unprepared for it.
According to Zlatan, the birth of his son also affected his finances, admitting that at one point he was afraid he could not keep up with the costs of raising the child in London.
Zlatan also stated that he regretted some of his previous actions after welcoming his son, adding that the new phase of fatherhood refrained him from some habits.
