

The Rivers State Police Command PRO, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, has warned women on the implications of collecting transport fare without showing up.
According to SP Grace Iringe-Koko, accepting money from a man with no intention of fulfilling the promise is considered obtaining money under false pretense.
According to her, this act is punishable under the law.
This follows a recent case in which a woman identified as Jennifer was fined ₦450,000 or sentenced to seven years in jail for allegedly collecting money from a man and failing to show up.
