The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has demanded the immediate public release of the medical report of its detained leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
On Thursday, IPOB spokesperson Comrade Emma Powerful said a team of doctors appointed by the Attorney-General assessed Kanu’s health two days ago, but the report has not been released.
Powerful described the delay as troubling, insisting that the findings must be released in the interest of transparency.

He further urged both the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Attorney-General to immediately publish the findings and allow Kanu access to the medical results.
“The refusal to make the report public only fuels suspicion.
“We demand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu be granted access to the doctors’ findings,” he added.
