Speaking after receiving his certificate, the member-elect for Anambra South Senatorial District, Nwachukwu Emmanuel Chibuzor, said his focus would be to deliver “authentic and practical representation” to his constituents.
“My promise is that they will feel well represented in this country,” he said, noting that “we also want to separate representation from philanthropy. It is the impact on education, health, and ecology that matters most.”
Nwachukwu noted that Anambra South faces serious ecological challenges, describing it as “the erosional capital of Nigeria.”
He pledged to attract both local and international environmental experts to tackle the problem, while also encouraging lifestyle changes that would preserve the environment.
