The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the ongoing ward-level Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by four days, now set to conclude on Sunday, October 12, 2025, instead of the original end date of Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Victoria Eta-Messi, INEC’s Director of Voter Education and Publicity, announced in a statement that the extension was prompted by an impressive turnout and aims to ensure inclusive participation in the registration process.
The move reflects INEC’s commitment to accommodating more eligible voters in the FCT ahead of upcoming electoral activities.
