Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin “Falz” Falana has addressed recent speculation suggesting he secretly tied the knot, shedding light on his stance regarding marriage and personal privacy.
The rumors sparked after a series of traditional wedding-themed photos Falz shared on social media went viral, with many fans assuming they were from an actual ceremony.
Clarifying the situation, Falz explained that the images were part of a photoshoot project and not a real wedding.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, he humorously reflected on the public’s reaction, suggesting that when he does get married, people might not even pay attention.
He also emphasised that he isn’t obliged to disclose personal milestones, though he hasn’t ruled out sharing his marriage if love inspires him.
“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married nobody will care,” he said.
Falz added, “It is bold of you to actually assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it.”
