Nigerian singer Young Jonn has opened up about his current approach to relationships, revealing that he isn’t ready to commit to one woman at the moment.
The ‘Dada’ hitmaker explained that he is focusing on “platonic” connections rather than diving into a serious romantic relationship.
Speaking on a recent episode of the ‘Way Up’ podcast hosted by Angela Yee, shared on X on Wednesday, the 30-year-old said he isn’t in a phase where he can fully dedicate himself to someone.

“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he shared.
He further clarified his stance, saying, “I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”
Young Jonn’s comments come after the reported end of his rumored romance with Davido’s cousin, Adenike Adeleke, also known as Nikos Living. The pair fueled dating speculations earlier in 2024 when Nikos shared photos and posts featuring both of them.
The relationship reportedly ended in August 2025, with signs including the two unfollowing each other on social media and deleting their shared pictures.
