I was never married, we only cohabited

A lady identified as Chizy, who claims to be the woman accused of infidelity over an iPhone 16, has publicly addressed the viral incident.

Recall that a man called out his alleged wife of abandoning their child at home to meet another man in a hotel, claiming he had paid her bride price in December.

In a video shared by Chukeric on X (formerly Twitter), Chizzy clarified that she and her partner, Heritage, were never married.

“They only cohabited for five years, and in all that time, he never paid my bride price or held any form of wedding ceremony,” she said. “I am not married. No one should address me as a married woman. We only lived together, and even then, he never considered marrying me.”

She alleged that during their cohabitation, Heritage, who was already a single father, physically abused her, cheated on her with multiple women, and even lodged his baby mama in hotels, the same woman he once condemned her for interacting with.

Chizzy boldly admitted that she intentionally met another man in a hotel to retaliate, and she is not remorseful.

She also highlighted the sacrifices she made while with Heritage, including helping him grow his store, supporting him financially and emotionally.

Yet, Heritage allegedly never appreciated her efforts, instead sharing explicit videos and pursuing other women.

“I owe him nothing because we were never married. If he claims otherwise, let him produce evidence of any marriage,” she said firmly.

Her statement has sparked renewed online conversations about cohabitation, relationship expectations, and accountability, showing that social media appearances often obscure complex personal realities.
