Tennis star Alexander Zverev has disclosed that his major objective is to stay fit in 2026.
The world No. 3, who struggled to deliver his best tennis after reaching the final at the Australian Open earlier this year, was unable to qualify for the semifinals at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, a tournament with which he had shown a great feeling in the past.
However, in a chat with ATP, Zverev stated that his top priority in 2026 will be to stay fit because there is no way he can return to his top form unless he is fully healthy.

“I mean, staying fit is number one for me priority because then I can build.
“It’s as simple as that. I feel like over the last month I was still building up quite nicely. I feel like my level has been improving. Today it was nowhere near what it was the last month.
“I’ll look, I’ll play Davis Cup, then I’ll take some time off, then I’ll have some time to think about it,” the three-time Grand Slam runner-up said.
