The agent of Real Madrid defender Dean Huijsen has disclosed that the Spanish international rejected Paris Saint-Germain’s financial offer to join the Los Blancos.
The former Bournemouth starlet has impressed onlookers with his maturity and defensive discipline, making him one of the best-performing center backs so far this season.
However, Hujisen’s career trajectory might have turned out differently, as the youngster, in 2024, was considered a key target for Paris Saint-Germain.

In a chat with the club’s website, the center-half’s agent, Ali Barat, stated that Real Madrid represented the best choice for the Spanish international.
“(PSG director) Luis Campos, as always, was among the first to recognise his potential.
“PSG was a real option (in 1014), but Dean believed he had a better chance of playing consistently at Bournemouth than in Paris.”
Barat added, “At this level, decisions aren’t just based on the highest financial offer, but on the best possible career path. For Dean, Real Madrid represents the best choice for his future at this stage of his career.”
