How ex-naval chief, Yusuf is tackling youth restiveness through job creation

Former Director of Nigerian Navy Accounts, Rear Admiral Tahir Yusuf Biu (rtd) is currently empowering over 500 citizens in his companies with job opportunities.

Rear Admiral Yusuf, a philanthropist with several awards from the Nigeria Navy, also served as Director of Finance in the Nigerian Defence Intelligence Agency, DIA, between 2006 and 2011.

The former naval chief started as Assistant Director of Finance in the DIA, as a Navy Captain under former National Security Adviser, NSA, General Babagana Mongono, left for the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS, and after which he was transferred to the Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistic College, Owerrinca in Abia State in 2013. He later appointed the Director of Navy Accounts and budget in 2015.

Admiral Yusuf is currently one of the largest employees of labor in the  North-Eastern part of the country.

For the purpose of contributing his quota in shrinking the large youth unemployment rate in the country, Yusuf rose to the occasion by establishing Beemas Water Factory, Bitmas integrated Dairy Farm Ltd, and Bella Care Realivitation Centre, all in Kaduna, which have meaningfully engaged over 5000 youths in the country and reduced the rate of criminal activities bedevilling the country.
