Hollywood Icon Bruce Willis Enters Specialised Care Facility as Dementia Worsens

Hollywood legend Bruce Willis, best known for his role in the blockbuster Die Hard franchise, has entered a specialised care facility as his battle with dementia deepens.

The 70-year-old actor, who was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022 and later with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023, is now facing severe cognitive decline, including significant loss of speech and memory.

According to reports, the decision to move him into a care home was made to ensure a more supportive environment for both Willis and his family. His wife, Emma Heming Willis, and their two daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, have been at the forefront of his care, working to provide stability during this difficult time.

Family sources said the move would allow Willis to receive professional medical attention tailored to his condition while easing the strain on his loved ones.

Willis’s diagnosis shocked fans worldwide, as he retired from acting in 2022 after decades of starring in Hollywood blockbusters, including Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense, and Unbreakable.

His family has continued to raise awareness about dementia, stressing the need for more support and research into the condition that affects millions globally.
