Celebrity chef and multiple Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci is celebrating her 30th birthday with a heartfelt message, describing this new phase of her life as a fresh journey filled with gratitude and renewed strength.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram on Saturday, she expressed how reaching this milestone feels different from previous years.

“This is 30, and it feels like stepping into a brand-new book, not just another chapter,” she wrote, highlighting her sense of a complete new beginning rather than just a continuation of the past.
Reflecting further, Baci acknowledged the experiences that have shaped her while emphasising her growth and faith.
“I carry every lesson, every tear, every win with me, but I walk forward lighter, stronger, and overflowing with gratitude to God. The woman I’ve prayed to be is the woman I’m becoming,” she added, pointing to her resilience and deep spiritual grounding.
Her milestone birthday comes shortly after another historic achievement. On September 15, 2025, she secured a Guinness World Record for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice.
The massive pot, weighing 8,000 kg (about 17,637 lbs), was cooked in Lagos and attracted thousands of onlookers.
The recognition from Guinness World Records reinforced her reputation as a trailblazer in Nigerian culinary history.
It also added to her earlier success in May 2023, when she cooked nonstop for 93 hours and 11 minutes to claim the title of the longest cooking marathon by an individual — a feat that brought her global acclaim.
Through her journey, Baci has not only elevated Nigerian cuisine to international recognition but also inspired millions across Africa and beyond.
