A heartbroken Davido fan has shocked many after smashing the singer’s framed photo in his home over silence on Nnamdi Kanu’s life imprisonment.
The fan, believed to be a loyal IPOB supporter and a dedicated 30BG member, had Davido’s portrait proudly displayed on his wall.
But after a federal court in Abuja sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment on November 20, his frustration boiled over.
In a viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by @dammiedammie35, the fan yanked Davido’s framed photo off the wall and smashed it to the ground, saying:
“I’m no longer a 30GB. They sentence Nnamdi Kanu go life in prison, Davido dey do birthday… no tweet, nothing nothing. Davido that I respect.”
His emotional outburst sparked mixed reactions from viewers because it came from someone who has openly adored Davido for years.
Many say the act shows how tense and emotional the southeast has become since the Kanu’s verdict.
Davido, meanwhile, has remained silent since his birthday celebrations, sharing music updates and family moments while avoiding any political commentary.
