The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Blueprint.ng Group of Newspapers, Mallam Salisu Umar, has described the late Head of Printing and Logistics of the company, Yahaya Adamu, as “more than a staff,” saying his death has left a deep void in the organisation.

Umar, who visited the family in Kaduna, said Yahaya’s passing was personally painful because of the close relationship they shared.

“Yahaya is hardworking and he doesn’t joke with office work. He’s always active. I lost a pillar,” he said, adding that the loss had created a huge hole in the heart of the Blueprint.ng family.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

Yahaya Adamu died early Saturday morning in Kaduna after a brief illness.

Also among those who paid a condolence visit to the deceased Blueprint.ng ’s staff family is Alhaji Ibrahim Sheme, a director of Blueprint Newspaper.

In a statement signed by Nuhu Sani of the Administration and HR Department, the company said the burial was conducted at Kabala Costain District of Kaduna in line with Islamic rites.

It described his death as a heavy blow to the organisation.
