President Bola Tinubu has begged Nigerians to remain hopeful about his Renewed Hope agenda, promised by the current administration.

Speaking on Friday while signing 2025 55.99 trillion-naira ($37-billion) budget, the former governor of Lagos State said that the country is heading towards a light at the end of the ongoing economic struggles.

He added that with many reforms and tough policies made by his government, many divers positive results have been produced.

Tinubu said: “The past year tested our resolve but through the economic discipline and strategic reform, we achieved what many deemed impossible.

“Nigeria is heading towards the light at the end of the tunnel, as the country grinds through the second year of a cost-of-living crisis.

“After the initial turbulence, the take-off was very cloudy and uncertain.”

INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that Tinubu’s statement is coming, amid high level of inflation, with economic hardship facing the country.
