Some yet to be identified gunmen have invaded hotel belonging to students of College of Nursing Science, Asaba, Delta State.
It was gathered that the criminal elements, who invaded the premises of the students, carted away their valuable properties.
The hostel, located outside the school and primarily inhabited by female students, was said to have been attacked on Thursday night by the gunmen.

A source who refused to disclose her identity told PUNCH on Friday that the robbers, armed with guns and cutlasses, stormed the hostel around 8 p.m., held the students hostage, and dispossessed them of their mobile phones and cash.
She said: “The men threatened to shoot us. They ransacked our rooms in search of phones and money. Some of us were hit with a gun, and they even slapped us.
“There was confusion in the hostel, and some of us hid under bunks. The experience was indeed traumatic. We were afraid to sleep afterward.”
Confirming the unfortunate incident to newsmen on Saturday, Spokesman for Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, said that security agents have commenced manhunt over the situation.
He said: “Yes, it is confirmed, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the perpetrators.”
