Governor of Kebbi state,Dr Nasir Idris, has assured the parents of abducted students that Kebbi state government will do everything possible to rescue the abducted girls unhurt.

He gave the assurance at Maga where the abduction took place in a video seen by our correspondent when he addressed some selected journalists who joined him after he cut short his trip to personally visit the place ” we are here to see things for ourselves and to give you our resolve that we will use the security agencies to rescue all of them,we want you to take us by our words that we will do the needful he concluded with a worried face”.

Earlier, before his arrival to the scenes of abduction he immediately sent his deputy to the place to do on the spot assessment of really transpired.

Recall that no fewer than twenty school girls from comprehensive secondary school Maga were on Sunday night abducted in the hostel, the abductors seized the girls from Adamu Aliero hostel in the school killing the vice principal of the school and the night guard.
