The Oyo State Government has announced the distribution of thousands of free tickets to young residents for Davido’s ‘5ive’ Tour scheduled to hold in Ibadan.

Governor Seyi Makinde approved the initiative as part of his administration’s efforts to promote youth engagement and strengthen the state’s growing creative and entertainment sectors.

The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will oversee the ticket distribution on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Secretariat, Ibadan, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and interested youths are required to present a Local Government ID, Voter’s Card, or National Identification Number (NIN) to verify residency in the state.

The Ibadan leg of Davido’s tour is expected to attract more than 20,000 fans, making it one of the biggest entertainment events of the year. The gesture reinforces Governor Makinde’s commitment to youth empowerment, tourism promotion, and cultural development in Oyo State.
