Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State is hosting the North-West Zonal Security Summit, organized by the Senate Ad-hoc Committee on National Security.
The one-day summit, taking place at the Yar’Adua Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna, is themed: “Building Robust Regional Collaborations to Tackle Insecurity: Pathways for Securing the Future.”
The high-level gathering brings together key stakeholders to deliberate on sustainable solutions to the region’s security challenges.
Notable participants include: The Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Senators and members of the House of Representatives, Traditional rulers, Religious leaders, Service chiefs and heads of security agencies, Other critical stakeholders.
The summit portrays the urgent need for coordinated regional efforts in addressing banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, and other forms of insecurity plaguing the North-West.
