KANO – The immediate past All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, arrived Kano on a condolence visit across the ancient city.
Dr Ganduje had arrived in the waiting hands of stalwart of APC that included Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, Abdullahi Abbas, Abba Dabo, and hundreds of fanatical supporters to paid his respects to families who lost loved ones.
The streets leading to the airport were bustling with supporters, who had gathered as early as 10am to catch a glimpse of the APC stalwart.
The atmosphere wirhin and around Aminu Kano International Airport was electric, with chants and cheers filling the air as Ganduje’s plane touched down at the tarmac.
As he made his way through the crowds, Ganduje was flanked by a long convoy of party supporters, who had turned out in force to show their solidarity with the former governor.
The procession made its way through the city, stopping at several locations where Ganduje paid his respects to grieving families.
At each stop, Ganduje offered words of comfort and condolences, acknowledging the pain and loss suffered by the families. His visit was seen as a gesture of goodwill and support, and was warmly received by those he met.
Ganduje further used the opportunity to reconnect with his supporters and party faithful, who turned out in large numbers to show their appreciation for his leadership.
As he moved from one location to another, the former governor was greeted with chants of “sai Uban Abba! “sai Uban Abba! as he beamed a warm smiles.
Throughout the visit, Ganduje was accompanied by huge crowd of party officials and who joined him during the condolence visit that last 6 hours before returning to Abuja .
As he concluded his visit, Ganduje was seen smiling and shaking hands with supporters, who thronged around him to bid farewell.
