Galatasaray release key Victor Osimhen injury update ahead of Alanyaspor visit

Victor Osimhen’s injury during the international break has made him miss Galatasaray’s last three games….

Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have confirmed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will be available for selection for their game against Alanyaspor on Friday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been out of action since sustaining an ankle injury while on international duty with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda.

The 26-year-old marksman has been recovering since then. The injury even made him miss Galatasaray’s last three games against Eyupsor, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Konyaspor.

But three days ago, Soccernet.ng reported that Osimhen had resumed training with his Galatasaray teammates, albeit he did not participate in all the drills.

Today, the club shared more pictures of the Super Eagles star in training with his Galatasaray’s teammates.

Afterwards, they revealed their squad for their upcoming Super Lig fixture against Alanyaspor on Friday, and Osimhen’s name was there.

This means that he will be part of the team for the game tomorrow. However, it is very unlikely that he will start for the Cimbom. Osimhen will likely start from the bench before getting subbed on in the dying minutes.
