President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a new batch of 32 ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation, just days after submitting an initial list of three envoys.
In two letters addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Tinubu urged lawmakers to give the nominations prompt attention. He asked the Senate to “consider and confirm expeditiously” 15 nominees as career ambassadors and 17 others as non-career ambassadors.
According to the President, the list includes “four women on the career ambassadors’ list and six women on the non-career ambassadors’ list.”
Here’s the list of non-career ambassadors (17 nominees):
