Premier League side Fulham are reportedly in advanced talks with AC Milan over a €25 million move for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to reports in Calciomercato.
The 26-year-old has been negotiating with Fulham for weeks, and the deal is now said to be closer than ever as the summer transfer window nears its conclusion.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 but has struggled to cement a regular starting role.
Since arriving at San Siro, he has made 72 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing six assists across all competitions.
Fulham attempted to sign the Nigerian international in January on loan with an option to buy, but Milan rejected the approach. This time, however, both clubs are understood to be working towards a permanent transfer.
Fulham manager Marco Silva has grown frustrated with the club’s lack of activity in the market, with backup goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte their only arrival so far this summer. Securing Chukwueze would represent a major attacking boost to Silva’s squad.
