Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze supplied the assist for Fulham’s solitary goal in their win over Sunderland at Craven Cottage, Soccernet.ng reports.

Fulham returned to Premier League action with a home fixture against Sunderland. The Black Cats entered the game on the back of a four-game unbeaten run, during which they earned a win against Chelsea and forced Arsenal to a draw. So it was expected to be a tough match-up.

However, Fulham put up a solid showing. Super Eagles stars Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi were on the starting lineup, while Chukwueze started from the bench.

The Cottagers dominated the game from the blast of the whistle, with Iwobi forcing an early save from Robin Roefs. There were also chances for Harry Wilson and Joshua King before halftime, but they failed to convert.
