Former Indian Inspector-General Of Police Bags Professorship Appointment From US Varsity

UNESCO Laureate & Vice-Chancellor, Crown University Int’l Chartered Inc., USA, has appointed Former Indian Inspector-General of Police (Rtd), Dr Ashu Shukla as a Professor and Member Board of Trustees, Crown University Int’l, USA.

Daily Independent learnt this from UNESCO Laureate in a statement today being Wednesday, February 20, 2025 which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by the University VC’s Executive Assistant On Media, Publicity and Communication Matters as Prof Aremu Commends development.

Aremu while hailing Dr Ashu Shukla for his decades of scholarships; teaching and educational, research and innovation experience as well as his exploits in Indian in terms of promoting National and global peace and security, he noted that, Dr. Ashu Shukla retired voluntarily from Central Reserve Police Force (C.R.P.F.), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, as Inspector General of Police.

He added that Dr. Ashu Shukla had also served as Head of Administration at Shri Ram Janmbhumi Teertha Kshetra, Ayodhya, UP, India. And as Independent Director certification from Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. He was also, empaneled as Non-Official Director by Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

The statement by UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu which revealed some vital academic, or scholarly and other achievements of the Indian Former Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Ashu Shukla and the profile of Dr. Ashu Shukla reads in parts: ” Dr. Ashu Shukla has served as a startup and Leadership Mentor with Startup and Innovation Mission, Government of Tamilnadu, India”.

“Dr. Ashu Shukla had served às Advisor to Government of UP, India. And Advisor on Cow-based Development model to Panchgavya Vidyapeetham (University), Chennai, TN, India. Also, served as a Visiting Professor of Management at Sawyer School of Governance Boston, USA”.

“He is a visiting Professor in Public Policy and Performance Management at Indian Institute of Technology and other Government of India Academies and Institutions within India and Abroad. He had served as a visiting faculty in United Services Institute, Ministry of Defence, Government of India”.

“He had Ph.D. in Government Performance Management. He attended seminar on Government Performance Management at Commonwealth Secretariat as Government of India delegate. Attended seminar at Suffolk University, Boston USA on Government Performance Management”.

“He had served as Vice Principal of Central Training College, Ministry of Home Affairs and took lectures for various in-service programs He had served as Chief Communication and Operations Officer of Indian Special Police Units in UN Mission in Kosovo”.
