Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has lashed out at Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim following the Red Devils’ 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Phil Foden opened the scoring before Erling Haaland struck twice to secure the derby victory at the Etihad.
In a video posted on his X page, Arukwe slammed Amorim’s tactics and called on him to quit.

“Come Ruben Amorim baba what’s this now, go and look for another job this football is not for you, this isn’t your calling, you’re stressing me out common what’s the meaning of this, if you don’t know what to do you leave,” the actor lamented.
Since his appointment on November 1, 2024, Amorim has endured a poor run in the Premier League, recording only eight wins, seven draws, and 16 losses in 31 matches.
United’s inconsistent form has seen them slump to 14th on the table, and the derby humiliation has further heightened pressure on Amorim, with fans and celebrities alike voicing frustration over his disappointing tenure.
