Finance expert and media personality, Adeife, has shared a candid account of her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) experience, describing the recovery period as one of the toughest moments of her life.
Speaking openly about the cosmetic procedure, Adeife disclosed that the surgery cost her over ₦10 million, covering the medical operation, post-surgery care, and accommodation.
“The surgery itself cost about ₦8 million,” she revealed. “But when you add hotel expenses, aftercare, and the compression garments, it easily goes up to ₦10–₦14 million.”

The finance coach, who underwent the operation at a facility she described as “top-notch,” said she deliberately chose a female surgeon for better understanding and comfort.
However, Adeife warned that the glamour often associated with BBL results hides the painful reality of recovery. “The first six weeks are hell,” she admitted. “You can’t sleep on your back or side — you must stay flat, wearing your faja all the time. The compression is intense, and the massages are unbearable.”
She further advised women to understand their body types before opting for such procedures, noting that costs and results differ. “If you’re on the bigger side, expect to pay more; smaller bodies usually cost less,” she explained.
Adeife also credited her boyfriend for providing the emotional and physical support she needed during her recovery. “Having someone by your side makes all the difference,” she said.
Her experience, she concluded, should serve as a warning to anyone considering cosmetic enhancement: “It’s not just about the money — you need strength, patience, and a solid support system to get through it.”
